3. MR.
WIGGLES
Author - Cynthia Brohas-Gulacsy
Genre - Animal Themed/Children-Teen-Tween/Family
Length - Feature
Logline - A young, overweight teen
learns about life, and love, through the twinkle-toed antics of a dancing
horse.
Synopsis - ANGEL BROOKS is just
about to turn Sweet 16 and never been kissed. She is overweight, under-confident,
but incredibly brilliant, and the only true passion she knows in her
life is the love she has for horses. She is indeed an expert on horses,
especially in the art of Dressage, and can tell you everything you need
to know. The only problem is, she's never really rode one.
Poncho is a horse that has seen better days. He's not much to look at,
has a mind all his own, he's always getting into some kind of trouble
with the trainers, and he'd rather spend his time shaking his bootie
rather than parade around with little children riding on his back.
But there is a magic between Poncho and Angel that brings them together.
With the help of a horse-whispering trainer and a down-on-his luck,
former Dressage Champion, they learn to overcome life's obstacles that
lie ahead for them, and redefine the art of Dressage, all leading up
to a competition that will either expose Poncho's new owner for animal
cruelty, or seal Poncho's fate forever.
