DIABLO, THE GHOST HORSE 2. SLINKY
AND YO-YO'S FANTASTIC FERRET ODYSSEY On the wild sidewalks
of suburbia, the ferrets’ first surprise is to discover the prairie
dog village really exists! CAPTAIN MONTAGUE WHITEBEARD of the Pirate
Cat Crew doesn’t know where it is, but his allies in the Rat Mob do.
VITO THE GODFATHER RAT and his daughter FREDA agree to show the ferrets
the way to the village but only after they help the rats with a heist
of a rat treat factory – within which lurks the persistent and dangerous
HOUND, a dog with a desire to turn small animals into chew toys! Nearing their destination, personality conflict arises between the ferrets and its up PAUL and ARTIE the Singing Squirrels to save the ferrets’ friendship and help them reach the prairie dog village. When the ferrets find the village deserted, they agree that in an odyssey, the journey is more fun than the destination and that the only thing better than a good home and good food are good friends to share them with! 3. FANCY
PANTS To afford an experimental
operation to save Bear's life, Marlene faces the necessity of selling
Star King and their other four horses. Bear won’t hear of it. No hospital
bill will claim his horses. Instead, they’ll give their horses away
to kids! In exchange the kids will give them back foals, which Bob will
sell to pay off debts. They’re deluged with letters. They keep Star
King, but give away horses to shy CASSIE, poor TRISH, lonely JILL, and
JEREMY in leg braces. The Hegwoods are famous matchmakers. But Marlene
has doubts about all this. She still wants her unattainable dream. Cassie, so shy and
troubled she’s failing classes, begins to compete on Snowball. Cassie
loses her first competitions, and is mocked by other, richer kids because
of her cheap equipment. Marlene's pride
and joy is a fancy show saddle, given to her by Bob as a wedding gift.
It’s the saddle she planned to use in the Olympics. Intruders attack
Cassie and blind one of the horses, stealing the saddle. When suspicion
falls on Reese, he sets out to get the saddle back. However, he’s killed
in an auto accident. Marlene and Bob mourn deeply. Reese was like Bob’s
own son. To Marlene’s surprise,
Cassie's astute observations help solve the crime and clear Reese's
name. But it’s too late for Cocoa, the blinded horse. But Bob won't
give up on anyone. He retrains Cocoa and surprises everyone when she
rides again in competition—and wins! Bob, who now suffers from diabetes
and an amputated foot, doesn't believe in letting a disability keep
you from great things. Marlene works hard to keep everybody together
and happy, pushing aside her dreams. Cassie, more confident, finds the courage to enter the national 4-H Olympics. But she starts to become something of a “fancy pants,” wanting to be like all the rich girls. She whines that there's no way she can win on Snowball, and when Cassie cops a “fancy pants, I deserve more attitude,” Marlene teaches
her a lesson or two. Then gives her Star King! Bear and Marlene are
proud “parents” indeed, and Marlene has realized her Olympics dream
through Cassie, who has learned humility. In turn, Cassie
gives Snowball to Tony, who can finally realize his dream of being an
African-American cowboy. But there's one horse left to give...Reese's.
When Bear tries to find the perfect horse for JENAE, a little girl facing
heart surgery, Reese's father suggests Reese’s big, but gentle animal.
Marlene takes pride in the people from across the country who learn
of the “man who gives horses away.” Bear even has a card stamped with
that phrase. But what’s left for Marlene? What of her dream for a family
with Bear? It happens that Christmas. Bear and Marlene Hegwood finally find the Christmas they've always wanted—a house full of kids. Dozens show up to thank Bear and Marlene for changing their lives with the horses. That Christmas Eve, the kids watch along with Bear and Marlene as a beautiful foal is born in their barn, signaling hope and a better future for the Illinois rancher and his wife. She realizes how special Cassie’s been to their lives, a nice fancy pants indeed. 4. MR.

AND GINGERBREAD 6. PYRAMID Enter the newly established American Federal Cheer Association, a national organization dedicated to the development of high school cheerleading and sponsor of the biggest competition the sport has ever seen. First prize is a fully paid collegiate scholarship for every member of the winning squad. For Pawtucket's students it's a dream come true.....if they can just round up enough volunteers, get the 8-track to work, and keep the cows out of the south pasture so they have room to practice.
